Sleeping in the Kitchen...

I don't know why I find this funny, but I do.

I don't think I have ever had breakfast in bed,
nor have I ever fed a meal to any one in bed before.

I can't even imagine the crumbs on my sheets!!

Really!?!

There are times I feel like I might as well sleep in the kitchen,
because I am in there so much through out the days.

With the holidays coming,
this is a busy time of year.

I do a lot of the holiday baking for my hubby's work
and for my mom and auntie's work too.

I also make up platters of goodies
for my father in law's work crew.

And of course you can't forget all those homemade gifts
you like to create for your sweet girlfriends.

Oh and there's the meals that you make to help
a family out when they need it most.

So, yes I think I'll be sleeping in the kitchen for the next few months.
(inserting smiles here)

Do you ever feel this way too?

What have you all been up too lately?

I hope you have a wonderful day!

I sometimes feel like I live in the kitchen. For the most part I don't mind. I am looking forward to creating some treats!

This made me giggle, Amy :) I have received breakfast in bed a few times. The first time was from my sweet hubby...I was a few months pregnant and he surprised me with toast and fresh fruit *smiles*

I'd love to give my husband breakfast in bed, but he gets up way too early! haha

Hugs to you, my friend :)

Oh Amy, This was really cute!
And I can vouch that you do spend a lot of time in your kitchen!
And in advance I want to thank you so much for all your holiday baking every year! Maybe we could have a pop tart in bed LOL
I am cracking up!!
Maybe we need to make some new kitchen curtains for you!
Love, Roxy

I've never had breakfast in bed either!

I don't bake like I once did and we usually eat out for the holidays now that most of the family lives out of state.

I do plan to bake some desserts to share with neighbors for the holidays.

Hi Amy! I think when you are good at cooking, the requests come falling in. I know you're a good cook!

My brother and sister-in-law are coming tonight to stay for a long weekend. There will be plenty of cooking! We're going to serve chicken parmigiana tomorrow, and hope to go out for dinner on Saturday night (cheating, I know!). I have cookies in the house, my brother has a real sweet tooth.

I sure wish I lived closer, we could have tea and some pumpkin bread. Then...back to work for both of us!
Take care of yourself my friend,
Ceil

I love the title of your post… so cute. I love the way you serve through your cooking.. and you are a great cook. I too often feel as if I live in the kitchen… so I can truly relate to what you're saying. My hubby has on occasion brought me breakfast in bed. He is my sweetie, and loves to bless me, and like Stephanie said, I have wanted to bring him breakfast in bed, but he is never there long enough for me to do it… he's always up before me. Hehe. Oh well.
Love and blessings,
Pam
