Elegant Strawberries...

God's Grace Overflows

Good Morning Friends!

How is your Summer going?

How bout a simple fun snack to share on these hot summer days?

Who here LOVES Strawberries?
Who here LOVES Chocolate?

Well, if you raised your hands, then this is the snack for you!!

I don't make this very often,
but each time I do I tell myself:
"Self... you should make these more often, they are so good!"
(Inserting Smiles Here)

What you need is:

1 container of fresh strawberries, washed and patted dry
1 bag chocolate chips of choice
(I used 1/2 semi sweet and 1/2 milk chocolate)
1 Tbsp. Coconut Oil

Line a cookie sheet with wax paper and set aside.
In a saucepan pour in your chocolate chips
and your coconut oil and
stir until melted.
You can use a microwave if you prefer,
it does cut down on time by a few minutes.

Once melted, start dipping your strawberries into the chocolate.
Lightly shake off any excess chocolate
and then place onto the wax paper.

Place your covered strawberries
 into the fridge till hardened.

Once hardened, store into a container till ready to serve!

Enjoy!

You will eat the fruits of your labor;
blessings and prosperity will be yours.
Psalms 128:2

Have a wonderful week!

Oh my goodness Amy, they are beautiful! I have never made them before... but I have certainly enjoyed them before. You have gotten me to want to make them now. I love that you use coconut oil with them; great idea.
Love you and miss you,
Pam

Oh Amy! These chocolate covered strawberries look so very delicious, and certainly very elegant! I have made chocolate covered litchis before - that was quite a while ago, actually - and oh! They were very good and make a wonderfully refreshing and simple dessert:)
Thank you for sharing today!
Many blessings and much love to you!
