I'm Home and Some Fun Photos To Share...

We have made it home from our nice little camping trip
to the mountains.
This is the road up to our camp.
Isn't it beautiful?

It was very green and wet up there!

Look close...What do you see?

My Little Lumber Jack cutting down a Tree!
(Hey that rhymes...Haha)

Two of my boys hanging by the camp fire
and if you haven't figured it out yet...
Yes, it was a bit chilly up there!

We had a guest by our camp,
enjoying some nice leafy lunch.
Yum-Yum!

The view was just amazing!!
And yes that is a fresh blanket of snow on those mountains!
Did I mention it was cold??

My bigger Lumber Jack clearing a path
on one of the many trails we took.

We got stuck, many times over the course of our trail rides
I think it had something to do with all the snow!!
Haha!
It was so much fun!

The little ones taking a break from getting stuck
and clearing yet another path for us!

My little bug, drew me a smiley face in the snow!

Winching out.....again!

Look there is life under all that snow....
God's Beauty was all over that mountain!

Can you guess what kind of track this is?
It's an Elk Track!
And they were all over the fields...

Mr. Squirt riding the trail!

Mr. Monkey doing what he does best!

Just hanging out!

Again Mr. Monkey was so proud to write
MOM in the snow...

The trees were starting to produce baby pine cones
even in that bitter cold weather!

This was one of the many roads that we decided not to try
and drive on....

It's so pretty untouched...

And the trail continues...
Until our next adventure!

Thanks for stopping by and visiting!

It's been a great week home,
trying to get caught up from being gone so long.

So many things to do with Summer coming and all.

Rain is still falling daily, our ground is soaked.
Praying our trees will once again grow new leaves
from the destruction of the hail storms.

Been cleaning up and working in the yard
and you'll be happy to know that our strawberries
and rhubarb are growing again!
And we even have a few red strawberries on the plants!

We are planting some flowers a little at a time
and the greenhouse is starting to bear veggies...

Even in the midst of all the storms,
there is life!

Thank you Jesus!!

I hope you all have a blessed week!

Hugs,

What a fun camping trip! We have made several camping trips to the mountains of Colorado, and can be quite cold indeed up there in the mountains! It looked like you were all well prepared to deal with the cold and snow though, and had a wonderful time with your four wheelers too! No better memories are made as a family than with camping, in my opinion :) Glad you are back, and know how busy it is to get back in your routine after being gone, as fun as the time away was! :)

I loved seeing all of your pictures Amy. It looked like a wonderful trip. Such precious memories you and Barry are creating for those boys. I love seeing them all, they are such treasures. It was indeed cold when I was there, so I have no doubt it was cold higher up in the mountains. I am back in Florida now; it is warmer for sure. Steve returned to Colorado last night; it was very hard to let him go. Have a lovely rest of the week. I like thinking of you planting flowers and veggies, glad things are being restored.
Love and blessings,
Pam

Hi Amy! Thank you for all the wonderful photos of your trip! Did you have the right clothes for the cooler weather? So much snow!!

I'm glad that your garden is coming back too. Yay for strawberries! I love those... Your boys are getting so big, and the little love notes in the snow for you are so adorable. I hope they always show you how much they love you.

We're off to see the new grandchild next week. I'm really excited to meet him. There's a photo of him on my FB page, you should check it out :) My sister and her husband are in this weekend, so we're hosting dinner here tonight with my Dad and my brother and his wife. Should be lots of fun! But I need to clean up this place pronto! Lol!

Have a great weekend,
Ceil

Hi Amy, What outstanding photos from your trip. Such glorious views but it does look cold! I know you all had a blast enjoying nature. You'll have to make something delicious with those strawberries and rhubarb soon. Thanks for checking in and I hope you are feeling well.

Hi Amy, What a beautiful spot to camp in and I really like your RV. We always used to tent camp, but I'm getting a little old for sleeping on the ground-so we hope in another year or so, to get an RV so we can travel and keep our pup with us.
Love your pics.
