And yes, anything homemade is always so much better. It sounds like the weather all over the US is doing the same...it just cannot make up it's mind, can it?? In New Zea...Oh my those scones do look delicious !! In New Zealand scones are normally pretty simple: Plain (with jam and cream), Date & orange, Sultana, Cheese or cheese and herb :) That's about it. When I travelled to America a few years back I noticed at one of the airports the array of different scones available at a cafe there...and couldn't quite believe it. Thanks for posting the recipe.
