Peanut Butter Bars...

Who Loves Peanut Butter??

This girl does...
And every chance I get I make something
with peanut butter just for ME!

I have to hide these in the back of my fridge,
so no one can find them!!
(Insert Smile here)

If you can't have peanut butter,
you can also use any other nut butters.

I made up some Almond Butter Bars
for my youngest son, so he can enjoy this sweet treat too!

Now for the recipe:

Peanut Butter Bars

3/4 c. butter, softened
3 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 c. peanut butter or almond butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
1 Tbsp. coconut oil

Mix together the butter, powdered sugar,
peanut butter or almond butter and vanilla.
Mix until a firm dough forms.
Using your hands press the dough into a 9x13 pan.

In a saucepan, melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil.
Spread the chocolate mixture over your peanut butter dough.

Place in the fridge, until the chocolate is hardened.

Cut into bars.
Place in a tin and hide, I mean store in the fridge!

I hope you all have a wonderfully blessed day!

In His Grace,

They look delicious, and healthy too. I am sure they will be a hit. I'll have to pin these.

Hello Amy, I laughed over the Hide in the back of the refrigerator LOL
I also love peanut butter! In cookies or anything else...
I think I still love them as cookies because of the ones I ate as a child that my Mother made!
Thanks for sharing this for others to enjoy! Hugs, Roxy

Oh Amy! I LOVE peanut butter! For Fat Tuesday, I had my husband go to my favorite dairy for some Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream....heaven!

I would have to hide these too. From myself!! They look so awesome. Thanks for sharing. You are such a wonderful cook. Your Mom must be quite the cook too I'm guessing?
Blessings,
Ceil

Sounds delicious. For some reason you dropped off my blog reading list. I am going to re-enter your name again so your blog pops up when you post. xo Diana
