Taking A Moment...

I feel as if I had opened a book and
found roses of yesterday sweet and
fragrant, between it's leaves!

Anne of Green Gables

We can complain because the Rose bushes have thorns,
or we rejoice because thorn bushes have Roses.

Abraham Lincoln

When life throws thorns;
hunt for Roses...

The strong, sweet scent of a Rose reminds
me of the powerful
sweetness of God's Love.

DON'T FORGET TO STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES!

Have a Lovely Day!

Thursday blessings to you Amy~ I love this post. Like you life is so busy lately and I have to remind myself that I need to have quiet days at home. Praying you are enjoying the spring weather and not experiencing any late snow or heavy rains.
Hugs,
Noreen

Gorgeous flowers! Are they from your yard?

Thanks for "talking back" at Harvest Lane Cottage. Do you know that your comments come through to my email as a "no reply blogger"? If you'd like to get direct responses to you comments you leave on blogs more often, you might like to know how to change that. I wrote about it in this blog post.

If you're like me, you don't have time to go back and check on other blogs to see if you've gotten a response to your comment. I sometimes can take time to track down commenters, but I'm usually short on time.

You are worth it!

Beautiful thoughts Amy! Taking time to smell the roses is time well spent, in my opinion! The wild roses are beginning to bloom here, and it is a glorious sight to see! Enjoyed your post today, and hope you are having a wonderful week so far :)
