Calling to the Heavens!

The 911 emergency system has amazing capabilities.
In most places in the US, a person needs only to dial those
three numbers to be instantly connected to a dispatcher.
On the computer screen the dispatcher instantly sees the caller's telephone number,
address, and the name under which the number is listed.
Also listening in on the call are the police, fire and paramedic assistants.
A caller needs not say anything once the call has been made.
Even the rasping coughs or terrifying cries have brought a quick response.
The dispatcher knows where the call is coming from and the help is sent out.
At times, some situations in our lives are so desperate
and our pain is so deep we can only cry a 911 prayer to God.
These are called "SOS Prayers"
and they often use the same words: God I NEED Help!
God hears each and every one!!
He knows our name and our every detail of the situation.
Like a heavenly dispatcher, He sends precisely who is needed to assist us.
Also, like a 911 dispatcher, our Heavenly Dispatcher may
have some advise to sustain us through a crisis.
Keep a listening ear......
and remember, help is on the way!
In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and he heard me.
Psalms 120:1

Hi Amy! I like the idea of a '911 Prayer', it's so important for me to stop making every prayer a 911!

I am trying to be more thankful, and less worried. I should save the 911 attitude for when it's really needed :)

So good to see you!
