While my hubby and I were on our yearly "No Kids Camping" trip,
we came along this tree that a beaver had started to chew on, but didn't finish his job.
This appeared to be a problem!!
Where was the beaver?
Why did he leave his job unfinished?
What if the tree would have decided to snap when it shouldn't have?
Hit a car while driving down the road?
This my friend is why you should never leave a job unfinished!
God gives us daily jobs each and every day and if we don't finish them,
then there seems to be a problem at hand.
What would affect your daily job duties from not being completed?
Some things would probably fall apart and others might not even notice.
But....
The one task at hand that should never fall to the waistlines, should be your Godly tasks.
If God gives you a specific task at hand to do, you should always be obedient to him.
As it states in Acts 20:24
"However I consider my life's worth nothing to me,
if only I may finish the race and complete my task the Lord
has given me-the task of testifying to the gospel of God's Grace."
I don't want to be like Mr. Beaver here, who doesn't get the job finished!
How about you?
I want to be able to say:
I finished Lord, what's next?!
I hope you ladies have a blessed week!

Such a good point Amy. I love the picture. How interesting that the Beaver didn't finish his job. I have one thing further that I always say to my boys: "The job isn't finished until the tools are put away". Steve likes that saying, and it does often need to be added, because there is an epidemic of leaving the tools out. But of course a beaver doesn't have to worry about that one does he? Haha. Thanks for the great post.
Okay, This was really good! Dang Beaver that tree better not hit somebody in the head LOL...
Well I try to not leave a job unfinished but sometimes I CHEW Off
More than I can handle
(Pun intended!)

A very good lesson to remember. I wonder if the beaver took time off to collect the kids from school?
God bless.
Hi Amy! I love how you got a message from seeing what a beaver had left behind. I love when that happens.
For flighty me, this is a good thing to remember. Finish what I start! I want to be like St. Paul all the time. This is a good way to start.
Hugs!

Ah, you got me. There are too many unfinished projects in my life. I see your point.

Oh Amy, this was such a good reminder for me to finish things that I start. I want to do my best for my Lord and I don't want to do a half job. Thank you, sweet friend, for encouraging and challenging me today :)
Hugs and blessings!
Amy,
Some of the projects I listed on my blog were my unfinished projects. I was inspired by this post to finish as much as possible!
Blessings,
Laura
