Be Still

 Good Morning Sweet Friends!

Grab a chair and a hot cup of tea and set with me awhile.

I just wanted to say Thank You for visiting me
and leaving me such encouraging and uplifting comments.
They mean more to me than you will ever know.

I just wanted to take time today to
Be Still
Be Quiet
And to be Thankful to God!

Without God's presence, we wouldn't have anything to long for.
To be quiet, to listen with a faithful ear
To be still, just for a moment of your day to just simply honor your heavenly Father.

What more could we really need?

I just know for me, the busyness of the day comes
and I feel like I have been grieved for not simply spending enough
time with God and for not inquiring of him for the weeks to come.

I don't want to carry on with my day,
my life without being grateful for a Love that is so powerful,
the whispers from Him that come when you least expect them to rise.
The  power in his scripture jumping off the pages,
The precious dreams he delights your sleep with,
The visions we hold so dear to our hearts.

This is what I long for each day for me and for all of you ladies.

So,
Grab a hold of that moment
And
Be Still!

I hope you enjoyed your visit, please stop by again soon!

"Be Still and Know that I Am GOD"
Psalms 46:10

Many Blessings & God's Grace,

Beautifully said, Amy. Our Heavenly Father loves to share our days and our moments with us. What peaceful rest and contentment awaits us when we do : )

Thanks Amy, I needed this reminder today. I do seem to think I need to do everything at once...taking moments today to stop, be still, and listen.

Hello Amy,
I know you read my blog, so you probably know that my mother in love passed to Jesus late Thursday night. My mind has been awhirl much of the time. God has been so good. So solid in this time. I've been listening to The Word on You Version as I work in the kitchen this morning. It helps me to focus my thoughts.

Thank you for reminding me to be still and listen.

God bless you,

Such a sweet post Amy. It is very precious. It is always good to be reminded to to be still. It is all too easy to get busy and caught up in all of the things we have to do every day. Love visiting your blog.
Love and blessings,
Pam

Thank you, dearest Amy, for the reminder to be still. With my husband and I in the process of moving into a new home life has been very busy and hectic lately, but your sweet post was a lovely reminder and gentle reprimand (for me) to be still. You are a blessing, Amy!

Hugs to you, friend!

Hi Dear! I would love to stop and sit a while with you. I love resting in the silence. I don't get that opportunity that much either, but that just makes it that much more special.

God so loves a heart that looks to him, so I think he is loving your post and your heart today. I really liked reading your words today. So peaceful...

Wednesday Blessings to you, my friend,
Ceil
