Spring Snow And...

Look...we got snow!

First it rained and rained
and then it turned to a wet snow...

This is my view for today...

It's so pretty!

As you can see from the picture above,
the snow is still falling...
Beautiful little speckles of wet fluffy snow...

We prayed for moisture and boy howdy
did God deliver!
I think it wipes that drought word right off the map!
(Smiles)

This photo was taking from my bedroom window
and as you can see here, we have a rather
large pond of standing water.
That is from all the rain,
 from before the snow.

I just think it's amazing really!
God is so good to us!

Yes, there will be mud,
 but I'm prepared!

I'd rather have mud than
blowing dirt any ol' day!

So, today...
I will continue to thank God for the moisture.
Praise Him for the mud to come.
(chuckles)

Make some snow ice cream with my boys!

Build a snowman.

Bake something sweet.

Read a good book.

Maybe watch a sweet movie.

And just enjoy the warmth of my home!

We are all so very blessed!

What are you all doing today?

Thanks so much for stopping by...

Hugs to you,

LOL about you praying for moisture! What's the old saying...Ask and ye shall receive. Please pray for it to NOT come here. We have had enough already!

I actually sat in the car today and read an old book I have been meaning to re-read---even if I was using it to fill the time waiting for SweetCheeks to get out of school.

Hope you have a wonderful evening. xo Diana

Amy, you have such a wonderful attitude towards the snow....but what else are you going to do, right?? Everything has a purpose in it's own time. Think how wonderfully green everything will be after it all melts! Have good remainder of the week!

Hi Amy! Thank you for your kind words on my blog, I appreciate it very much :-) I recently moved from Ohio in the snow belt to NC and I have to say I do NOT miss the snow, lol. I'm originally from MD. but also lived outside Philadelphia for awhile so I'm happy to leave the snow up North ;-) I hope your moisture will next come in just a lovely warm Spring rain and your flowers and trees will begin blooming again soon. Have a wonderful day! I'm going to be following your blog and I look forward to getting to know you better.

Blessings,
Jill

Praise God for all the moisture! It does look so beautiful and I'm so thankful that it will settle all the dust for you!

Do enjoy the wonders that snow brings...for the short time it'll be there. ....don't forget to have some hot chocolate while you're at it. :)

YEAH! Happy for you to have gotten the moisture we were praying for! Isn't the Lord good! So thankful that the rain came, and then the snow, the ground will be so appreciative! I don't like mud, but in your case, I would be rejoicing for mud too! Hugs to you today dear friend :)
