Well, it's that time of year again.
Out with the Old and in with the New!
2013, was a good year. We had our ups and our downs, but overall it was good.
Many blessings, laughter and joy
along with tears and gloominess!
Who doesn't have their moments?!
The Good Ol' Days are here to start new
and I'm looking forward to making new memories and traditions.
What are you doing for the New Years?
Do you have any Resolutions you are going to try to keep this 2014?
I have decided that I am going to start a new Bible plan to do with my boys this year.
We have a "read the entire bible in a year" plan.
It should be fun, since my oldest got a new bible this year for Christmas.
I love seeing the excitement in a child's eyes,
when he has come across something so interesting in the Scriptures.
He has been marking pages and writing thoughts along side God's Word
and it is so fascinating and a huge blessing to watch him grow in his Faith!
I'm also going to be more silent and have my listening ears on
to see what God's next big plan for me is this year!
I'm SO excited!!
Another Resolution I have is:
Not to stress over the small stuff!
God's in Control and I'm not going to be a worry wart!
Hmm... I'm also going to be on the hunt for more
healthy versions of dinner and dessert planning.
No diets here....
Every time someone says the big D word, I instantly gain weight.
Diet's don't work for me, so I'm sticking to a healthy food plan.
I hope you all have a wonderful New Year!
Be safe....
Remember this:
Let the Good times Roll and Carry on!

Happy New Year!
I also desire to learn a healthier version and plans for eating this new year. So glad he loves his new Bible! I am so happy to see all of you growing in your faith.
I also want to hear what the Lord is saying! May your year be blessed and rest in His provisions...
Love, Momma Roxy
Happy New Year Amy. I love the title of your post. It is true; we have to remember that these are the good ol' days. I too am determined to let God be God and not be a worry wart. I love all of you resolutions and plans... love the Bible in a year plan, and I am working on something similar and likewise with my eating.
We had such fun getting together with you last week and I am so glad all the kids got to be with you... they all just had a blast and loved seeing you.
Love and Blessings,
Pam
I was feeling down last night and reminded myself that these are the good old days. What a surprise to read these words on your blog this morning.
Thanks for confirming it for me.
Blessings,

Beautiful post, dear Amy :) I hope your Bible reading plan goes well this year - you inspired me to do that with my son. He is young and we do small Bible studies before school, but I think it would be good to start reading the Bible through in a year :)
Amen! Don't stress over the small things - I like that. Sometimes it's easier said than done, but with God all things are possible.
I do hope you're doing well and may you have a most blessed week. Take care!
