Treasure Box...

I love little treasure boxes!
I love the little trinkets that are hidden inside.
They all have a story wrapped up in those tiny little boxes.
Do you have a Treasure Box?

Now this little treasure box holds something even greater than a trinket.
It holds Pretty Scripture Cards!
I take one out a week and place it on my mirror in the bathroom.
So each morning when I get ready for the day,
I am reminded of how much God Loves Me!

A few years ago my Mom in Law made me a whole bunch
and I have made some too!
It's so nice to have something to place
within my Treasure Box!

If you would like to make your own Scripture Cards
all you need is:
Craft Paper or Scrap booking paper
Typed scriptures on colorful or white paper
Scrap booking scissors
Glue sticks
stickers, gems, lace, twine
The possibilities are endless...

Happy Creating Friends!

Be Blessed...
Amy

That's a great and fun idea! A lot of people have a word for the year, but it's good to have a scripture for the week! It would be fun to put together too! Have a great week ahead!

Such a sweet post Amy. I remember making those scripture cards with your Mama.. in law… we were over here, and I still have mine as well. The way you have kept them in a treasure box and rotate them out is such a wonderful idea; I love it. I have several treasure boxes… but this is so sweet, and I feel inspired to do something similar. Tell Barry happy birthday from us okay? Have a lovely week.

Oh, I do love sweet little treasure boxes! I have a few myself and it reminds me about when I was a litle girl, my mom had a beautiful porcelain jar on her dresser that she would stash little trinkets...I remember I loved opening it up and finding all kinds of lovlies!

What a treasure of a post!! I also just loved having little boxes as a child and I still do as an adult! I remember making those cards and they are scripture or encouraging words. And we all know how much we are in need of them now days. We need to make some more of those this winter!

Hi Amy! I had 'treasure boxes' when I was a pre-teen. I had little stones and buttons and shiny things in there. How I loved looking at each one, remembering when I collected them.
What a great idea to use it for Scripture! Such a simple, yet powerful way to remind yourself every morning of how God is watching out for you and covering you. I may do this myself, I REALLY like this!!

Be blessed my friend, as you bless me,
Ceil

No greater treasure in an earthen vessel... than the Word! And I love how you pick one each week to put on your bathroom mirror - what a great way to hide the Word in your heart daily! Easily made, wonderful way to display, and a hidden treasure indeed!
