Did you know that smiles are contagious?
Well, I think they are!!
When someone is having a bad day or the world seems gloomy,
you can turn to them with a smile and it changes their whole day.
What happen to all the kind people?
They are nearly extinct!!
Now a days, you look at someone and you fear you might get shot at
or they flip you the bird.
Really?! I was just smiling. It's the polite thing to do.
I am one to always have a smile on my face, to say please and thank you.
To say yes ma'am and no sir.
These are also becoming extinct from the newer generations!
Why?
Where has our manners gone?
Being friendly to one another?
I think this ol' world needs a smile make over.
Take those frowns and turn them upside down!
Its really not that hard.
Do you think God is happy to see all his children walking around with a frown,
being angry at the whole world?
Do you think it is pleasing to Him to see us
judging and criticizing and disliking everyone?
I think it grieves the Lord,
this is not what he had intended for his people.
We are to be the light in the dark!
So, all I ask of you is to pass some happiness around!
Smile and watch it become
CONTAGIOUS!
Your word O Lord, is a lamp to my feet
and a light for my path.
Psalms 119:105

Oh my goodness Amy, what a great post... and I agree with you about everything. Love to smile... love to laugh... it is like melting ice isn't it? and like a protective barrier against the darkness of the world. I also love it when people smile at me... see me... acknowledge me (in a nice way). Jesus said In the last days, men's love would grow cold.. and unfortunately we are beginning to see a lot of that. Which is why we hold on to that light, that love and those smiles.
Love and Blessings,
Pam
Hi Amy! I agree, I should smile more. Why is it so much easier to find something wrong, instead of to rejoice over all the good?
I hope that it's not as bad as you say, but instead that people are just struggling more and more these days. Your smile raises many people up on a sad day, I just know it. Lead us on in smiles, Amy! We'll all follow you, finding our treasures to thank him for :)

I love that you are having a "Homeschool Moms" tea party today... I hope you are taking pictures. I would love to see it. Also, love that you are learning to crochet some hot pads; thats great, we'll have to do a little of that together. I've been crocheting like crazy the last few weeks, so I am on a roll after not crocheting for a long time.
Love ya,
Pam
Hi Amy...
