Hello Ladies!
How are you?
How is your month of March going?
We have been busy!
I believe Spring is trying to come around
as we have been getting a lot of warmth in the days.
Little bits of green are popping up from underneath the dirt.
A new season is here
So why not start it off with a
new member in the family...
We have been praying about a puppy for awhile
We wanted one that would be that perfect addition to our family.
One that would bond with each of my boys.
A puppy that would grow up to love to hunt, retrieve, camp, hike...
So, my hubby and I, started browsing around
and found these Britney Pointer Mix Puppies for sale!
We called, no answer... So, we started looking some more.
As I was praying I told God that if this puppy was meant to be ours
God would do the work before us.
The very next morning, my hubby got the phone call
and the boys and my hubby got in the car
and came home with
Miss Daisy!
Isn't she the cutest puppy ever?!
She is so sweet, she LOVES to cuddle and is very playful.
But what puppy isn't?
I forgot what it's like to have a little girl like her
and the lack of sleep that comes with having a new puppy.
The other night I got no sleep at all,
for every 2 hours I had to take her out.
By the end of the night (I was desperate for sleep)
I let her curl up on the couch with me, she was one happy little girl.
And I got one hour of sleep... Yay me!
I told the boys it was their turn to pup-sit
the puppy from here on out.
It's been seven years since I had to
be up all night long with a baby!
I need sleep...
So, now my days are filled with a playful puppy, energetic boys,
school work, chores, taking care of the homestead
and my hubby and bed time bliss...
Oh wait... We have a puppy!
I hope you all have a wonderful day
Full of Smiles and Laughter!
Blessings,

Oh ... She is precious!!!!
A puppy is a wonderful addition to a family.
But yes...so much like having a new baby!!!!
Enjoy!
And have a cozy day.
Hello to you Miss Amy...
Puppy love I am sure with a bit of "what was I thinking" LOL
She is a very sweet thing and smart as a whip too! The only thing as you said is the potty training.
I love the warmer temps but the spring wind is such a pain!
I do hope you have a great week and I really enjoyed the photos of the boys and the puppy, they are all growing up so fast.
Much Love, Roxy
What a joyful post... I'd say a joyful time, but the initial days with a puppy can be trying. Fortunately, it looks like you've got some helpers. Enjoy! The cute little puppy days only last so long.
Be blessed sweet Amy!

Oh my, she is precious! Your boys must be having so much fun with her :)
It was a delight to read your comment on my blog this morning - thank you for visiting. It's hard to believe we're in March and Easter is just around the corner!
We have been enjoying spring-like weather with lots of wind like you guys. I am praying you get some moisture soon!
Thinking of you and wishing you a beautiful week. Love and hugs!
A puppy! They are so cute, but also a lot of work! I always think they are worth it though, and it's just a temporary interruption to your routine! Enjoy!
Amy, I'm so excited for your family! I love Brittney's(?)-they are such wonderful dogs. At one point I really wanted one, but had to remember that they are working dogs and need to work. We ended up with a mutt instead-who was my "heart" dog.
My daughter's family are getting a standard Poodle pup-it was supposed to be flown down from Idaho on Friday, but the breeders nephew's three daughters were playing in the snow and snow fell off the roof-so the 7 yr old twins were covered in it as well a 2 1/2 yr old girl. The 7 yr olds got out fine, but it took awhile to find the toddler and she died that night at the hospital. So tragic!!! I'm praying for the family,so my daughter's family won't get the pup til next Tuesday. She'll be 7.5 weeks old. How old is your little girl? There is nothing like a puppy in the family-of course that is said by a crazy dog lady. I have a sign in my sewing room that says "Life without a dog, I don't think so" and that's my philosophy.
Blessings as you all settle in with cuddle bug.
PS-you asked how to tell if a star fruit is ripe-I have no idea-except that the color is even and it is not to hard.
Hugs,
Noreen
Daisy is just adorable! There is nothing like a puppy is there? Have fun with your new baby! Happy Wednesday :)
Oh wow, such excitement to have a sweet little pup in the house, and lots of work too, oh my! I do remember those days when we got Annie as a puppy, and you are right, it is like having a baby again in the house! Hopefully things have settled down for you, and you have got a routine worked out :)
Miss Daisy is so adorable! Puppies are one of God's most adorable creatures, aren't they? I too had forgotten how much work they can be though! Hope your boys are enjoying her. Have a great week sweet friend.
Hugs, Vicky
