I just love a simple snack, don't you?
With four boys in the house, sometimes
I need something quick and easy to serve.
And we go through seasons,
where we eat light and we eat heavy.
With the hot months approaching fast and
camping season right around the corner,
I like to make up these easy Pinwheels
or as I call them yummy delicious cream cheese roll ups!
You can really add in anything you
want to these fluffy flour tortillas.
My guys love them with cream cheese, scallions,
shredded cheddar cheese,
shredded chicken, green chilies and garlic.
And of course their favorite spice Smokehouse Maple.
You can also make them with ham, turkey,
cream cheese, herbs and spices.
If you have never made these,
the recipe is simple.
You'll need:
4 flour tortillas, warmed
1 bar cream cheese
meat of choice
2 scallions, chopped
1/4 cup shredded cheese
3 green chilies, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
salt and pepper to taste
Mix everything together except your flour tortillas.
You can either char your tortillas on your stove top
or place in microwave to slightly warm.
Spread onto your tortillas and roll up tightly.
Slice the tortillas.
Place in fridge until ready to serve.
I hope you are enjoying your week!
Thanks for stopping by...

These look delicious Amy! Why haven't I tried something like this before? Thank you for linking up with the Art of Home-Making Mondays at Strangers & Pilgrims on Earth! :)
Oh these are wonderful Amy! I've made these often in the past, but somehow they've slipped off my "radar" or menu planning! Thank you for the lovely reminder. I have made mine with taco seasoning, a couple of diced nacho pepper slices, and cheddar cheese... so many yummy combinations. I will be giving them a try again soon... sounds like you have some exciting days coming up with camping, I'll look forward to hearing about it :) Have a blessed weekend!
