Simple Homemade Corn Nuts

I love to look at different recipes and I happen to come across something similar to this one and thought I should give this one a try.

This is a "Good For You" kind of snack and boy are they addicting!

Simple Homemade Corn Nuts

2 Cans Garbanzo Beans, rinsed and drained
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
Garlic Salt, to taste
Cayenne Pepper, to taste
Salt, to taste

First rinse and drain your Garbanzo beans in strainer. Pat dry and get any skins off the beans that have come loose from rinsing. Lightly toss the beans with the Olive Oil, spread the beans on a baking sheet in an single layer.  Bake at 400 degrees and roast them for about 35 to 40 minutes.
You are gonna want a crunchy corn nut here.

Immediately toss your corn nuts with seasonings to taste.

Enjoy!

Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations, "The Lord has done great things for them".
Psalms 126:2

Wow Amy,
this looks good. I have never heard of doing this, and I want to try it. Do they taste like the corn nuts you buy. Even if they don't they sound really good. Thanks for sharing.
