Hmm, doesn't this just look yummy?
My youngest little monkey decided to make mommy a delicious sandwich the other day.
I had been playing on the computer and he comes
tromping up the stairs to show me what a
"Big Boy" he's become!
He then tells me " Aren't you hungry mommy?" "I made this especially for you."
Now, wouldn't that make you feel special??
I was, but then I thought what kind did he make me?
So, I had to inquire what was inside and this is what I found....
A sandwich made with applesauce, carrots, dill and parsley.
Yum!
I was just so touched that he had me this special sandwich, that I had to take a picture of it.
I did try the sandwich (because I tell my boys all the time to try new things) and well.....
it was an interesting combination of flavors. Not something I would make on a normal day to day snack, but I was thrilled to see that I have sparked a "want to learn" in his creativity of cooking.
And now..... He wants to cook with me all the time!!! (chuckles)
I love it when we get excited about something new in our daily lives.
I love it when you see a spark in a child's imagination or creativity to want to learn new things.
My littlest monkey (as he's nicknamed) is inquiring all kinds of things right now and if I don't" Train him in the way he should go", then I might have lost that opportunity with him to Grow!
Just like if I don't encourage myself to learn and grow in God's Word, then I might wander onto another path and I don't want to do that either!
God is my Protector and Provider and he wants what's best for Me!
I am so hungry for God Word. I want more of Him daily!
(However, between you and me... no more carrot sandwiches! Ha Ha!)
I hope this brought some laughter to your day!
Take Care!!
Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Delight yourself in the Lord
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Psalms 37:3-4

Hi Amy! Oh, this is too precious. All I could think of is "Oh my aching teeth!" trying to bite through those carrots. You are such a good Mommie!
You are such an encourager, for your blog readers, and your little chef. I love it, and I know God does too.
Happy Monday!
