What are your Prayer Stats?

Do you pray?

YES!!

How should you pray?

PRAY all the time!!

This means anytime, any where!

But, prayer calls for a fourfold focus: on praise, on confession, on thanksgiving and then on requests.

Now, wouldn't it be fascinating if God gave us the statistics showing how much prayer time we spend on requests versus how much time is spent thanking God, praising God, or confessing our sins?

That would be an interesting stat!!

I know that if God did it for my own prayer life,
I would see those requests way up there on the list!

God's Word tells us that when we pray, we need to focus on the greatness and goodness of God.

With praise comes an attitude of thanksgiving.  We want to be thankful to the Lord for the many blessings in our lives.  The greatest blessing of all is the salvation we have in Jesus Christ, and the bonus is His indwelling Spirit and even more-Abundant Eternal Life!

We are called to confess our sins to God.
This too, gives us an attitude of thanksgiving for being free of guilt and filled with joy!

Then it's time to share with God our requests, for others and ourselves.

Strive for this fourfold balance in your prayer life and see how it draws you closer to God!

What would your stat be??

Blessings to you,

Hello, I think having a repentive heart for our thoughts and actions, Really positions us to praise and ask. He is a mighty God who will not only hear but responds to His children.
Their is a bowl full of the prayers of the saints.
Blessings, Roxy

It is so true Amy; and also, as I have grown through the years, I feel such an intimate love and friendship with Him; My prayer time becomes relationship and interaction and comfort in His presence.

Love your previous post as well; and the pictures of Clayton... those were great.
