I have found one of the best and easiest homemade coconut oil deodorants!
Here's what you'll need:
1/3 c. coconut oil
1/4 c. baking soda
1/4 c. arrowroot powder (found at your local health food store)
4 Tbsp. cornstarch (preferably non-gmo)
essential oil of your choice (I did Peace & Calming)
In a medium size bowl, mix the baking soda, corn starch and arrowroot.
Add in the coconut oil and use a fork to blend together.
Stir in about 5-10 drops of your essential oils. Mix well.
You may have to add more baking soda to get your desired consistency.
(I had to add about 5 more Tbsp. of the cornstarch to get it thick enough.)
I stored mine in a pretty jar or you
can use your old deodorant bottles from the store.
Gently roll on or use your fingers to rub on.
Me and my hubby love this!
No more store bought deodorant for this family!
I hope you take the time to at least try this,
you won't regret it!
And it's all natural :)
Have a great day!
Blessings,

This is exactly what I make and use and I LOVE it! You couldn't pay me to go back to store-bought deodorant :)
Wishing you a lovely Easter, Amy!
Blessings!
Hi Amy! My friend, who had the shoulder surgery, was telling me that I should look at my deodorant to be sure it doesn't have aluminum in it. What a timely post you have here! This is all natural, and I wouldn't have to worry about unnecessary ingredients.
Wonderful!
Thank you my friend. Have a blessed Easter,
Ceil
Oh wow Amy,
I really want to give homemade deodorant a try. Elizabeth made some not too long ago… I don't know if it is just like this one or different, but either way, I think this is marvelous. Thanks for sharing. Hope you have a wonderful Easter. We will miss seeing you and being with you this year.
Love and blessings,
Pam
I have been meaning to make some homemade deoderant for a while now but haven't gotten around to it yet. I pinned this and am going to try it soon! Have a blessed evening...Vicky
Hello Amy,
You stopped by my blog for a visit and I wanted to come and see you here at your own place.
Happy Mothers Day to you!
My dear Stephanie introduced me to this wonderful deodersnt a couple of years ago, and I have been using it ever since, love it! I make it for my sisters, nieces, and other women in my life.
Blessings!
