Love Never Fails...

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Love is patient, Love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects,
always trusts, always hopes,
always perseveres.
Love NEVER fails!

I just think this is the perfect scripture for February!

Now...On to a Chocolate recipe
perfect for Valentine's Day
or really any other day too...

I've posted this a few years back,
and I just think this has got to be one of the best
and easiest candy recipe ever.

Maybe you all can make these for your sweetheart as well!

Chocolate Cookie Truffles

1 package Oreo cookies-crushed
1 bar Cream Cheese
1 bag Milk Chocolate Chips
1 dollop Shortening or Coconut Oil
1 bag of mini baking paper cups
1 small Valentine Tin or another one of choice

In a large bowl combine the crushed Oreos and cream cheese. Mix well
 {I used my hands to mix them both, so they were well combined}
Roll into about a walnut size ball and set on wax paper.
Once balls are all rolled out, put them into the fridge
until they aren't sticky to touch, about 30 minutes or so.
Melt the chocolate chips and the shortening in a small saucepan.
Pull out your cookie balls and dip each one in the melted chocolate.
Place the dipped balls back onto the waxed paper
and set back in fridge till the chocolate hardens.
After the truffles are hardened, take off wax paper and place
them in mini baking paper cups.

Store in a cute Valentine's Tin or a Tin of your choice.
These are extremely rich, but oh so good!!
ENJOY!

I hope you all have a wonderfully blessed weekend!

In His Grace,

Those Chocolate Cookie Truffles look delicious! My husband isn't a huge fan of chocolate, but I am :) I guess I will have to make me some *smiles*

Lovely post, sweet friend. I always enjoy this portion of Scripture and it was a blessing to read it this morning.

Thanks for sharing at Roses of Inspiration - I hope you came back next Tuesday. Happy weekend! Love to you!

Hi Amy, you are right, it is a lovely verse for February or for any time. It's a verse that married couples should read often, just as a reminder of what we can do when practicing the fruits of the spirit. Your blog is delightful. I want to follow but I don't see a place to do that. Can you help me find it? Please come visit; who knows you may want to follow me, too.
Have a lovely weekend.
Your new blogging sister,
Connie :)

Hi Amy! It's hard to believe that February is so close! You did use a wonderful Scripture for that month, when we all celebrate Valentines Day.

These look AMAZING. My husband likes chocolate, so maybe Stephanie can send me her husband's share? Your boys are so blessed to have a mom like you...what treats to have on hand!
Have a wonderful weekend, and entry to Feb. :)

I haven't made candy for Lowell for Valentine's Day for years. Maybe I will this year.
