Good Day to you all!
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by.
I am so grateful you are here!
(Smiles)
Have you all noticed that hard times are here
and it seems as though they don't ever leave?
I have been doing a lot of praying for a lot of
people including for myself and my family.
A lot of people are hurting and/or
going through yet another trial.
I have close friends that are not well in their health,
some are fighting cancer, some have unknown illnesses
and some are struggling with depression.
We are all being hit with one thing or another.
So, I have been going through
a study on hard times and trials.
I have found quite a few scriptures that
I would like to share with you today.
Sometimes, just seeing the words written down
just helps and reassures you that
God is with you through it all.
Don't give up... Hope is there!
God is there!
So, grab your bible and follow along if you'd like.
Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run and not be weary
and shall walk and not faint.
Lamentations 3:22-23
It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassion's fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus unto good works,
which God hath before ordained
that we should walk in them.
Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them,
and said unto them,
with men this is impossible,
but with God all things are POSSIBLE.
Romans 12:12
Rejoicing in hope;
patient in tribulation;
continuing instant in prayer.
Romans 5:3-4
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also:
knowing that tribulation worketh patience.
And patience, experience;
and experience, hope.
2 Timothy 4:17
Not worth standing the Lord stood with me,
and strengthened me; that by me
the preaching might be fully known
and that all the Gentiles might hear:
and I was delivered out of the mouth of the Lion.
Don't let the enemy try to rob you
of what God has all ready given you!

Thanks for this encouraging post,Amy. It's easy to feel down when there are so many of us and/or friends and family that are sick or have other problems, but looking to God the author and finisher of our faith is always the answer. I pray your day is filled with Love and Joy!
Thank you for the encouraging words from God's Word, sweet friend. I am so thankful to have the Lord to lean on in times of difficulty and heartache.
Thinking of you! Hugs!
What a lovely post and encouraging scriptures and that lovely song by Danny Gokey that you have shared with us...thank you, Amy! I have asked myself over and over, how do people get through even one day without having Jesus as part of their lives? Thanks for posting and have a blessed Tuesday!
This was so good. I appreciate a timely word of encouragement. Praying for many and trusting the Lord for His will to be done. Blessings, Roxy
Dearest Amy...I just visited your mother in law's blog and read her post on dear Kelly's battle with cancer...again and again I am reminded of the importance of prayer and how wonderful it is to be able to lift others up to Jesus in prayer and ask Him for mercy!
These Scripture verses were just what I needed for today...sometimes our hearts become weary, but we must not tire in doing good! We can hold onto the hand of our Father in Heaven! Thinking of you much today...Kelly-Anne xx
So sweet Amy; It does seem that so many are going through such difficult things. We are praying for Kelly, and Steve's sister, who is going through such serious health problems; perhaps you can put her on your list. Love the scriptures, and the sweet post. Hugs, prayers and blessings for you all.
Dear Amy,
Indeed, it seems that trouble is on every side! Everyone seems to have some imminent issue that needs to be made a matter of prayer. I have found my little blessing/prayer journal being filled every day with more prayer requests.
What a beautiful thing you have done, to go to God's Word for encouragement in these trying times. We certainly can't find peace or hope anywhere else in this world, but it is found in HIM.
And one thing I've learned many, many times, is that takes an impossibility to have a miracle, and I've held onto that idea many times in dark moments and what a hope it was to know that. And I've certainly had my share of impossible moments, where the Lord came through and supplied the most beautiful miracle, that would never have been experienced, without the problem. I pray this for you, and whatever situations are disheartening, that the Lord would answer your prayers in a miraculous way! He is able! :)
This was a beautiful post dear Amy, and I am praying God's richest blessings on your life today! :)
Dear Amy, I just came over from Roxy's blog and so glad I did. I wonder if you live near your inlaws or are on the eastern plains of Co.? I live up north-near Fort Collins, in the high plains. I so love your mil and feel you are also a kindred spirit. I'm going to follow you.
Blessings,
Noreen
