Worn Boots...

Hello All!

Today is going to be a good day!

Old Worn Boots and all their glory.

If your boots could talk to you, what would they say?

Boots are a necessity out here on the prairie.
You wear them for of course protection for your feet,
but you also need to wear them while hunting or playing
in the fields for protection from snakes,
ants and well...just about anything really!

Over the years my boys have gone from
super teeny sizes to now really big sizes!

We try really hard to instill in our boys to
take care of what you own.
Wear each item with joy and work hard!
No time for being lazy here...
there is always something to do.

We get a pair of boots or shoes dirty, wet and stinky!
Yes... I do own a few more pairs of shoes than my boys
but I take really good care of them so I
can wear them with different outfits.

You are probably thinking...
this lady has lost it, she's writing about boots!

Go ahead, think what you will, but just know
if your shoes could talk will they say they had a good run?
Did you walk every day or did you lounge around and do nothing?
Have your shoes collected dust from not being worn?
Or have you gone through many pairs, because you out grew them?
Did you take care of what's been giving to you?

All I'm really saying is...take care of what you own.
Use and wear them until you no longer can.
Don't waste anything.
Bless someone with something you have.
Be blessed and carry on...
whether your shoes are old or new!

All in All... Life is Good and God is Greater!

Until next time...

Hello, I also agree with this post, we do need a good sturdy pair of boots!
It makes me happy to see them all lined up and ready for another busy day!
I have more shoes and boots, then a girl needs, but I need shoes and boots that do not hurt my feet! Happy Summer!

I love that picture of the hard working boots resting from a busy day! And I agree with your thoughts about boots. I was always a "girly-girl" with far more dress shoes than one ever needed. Now... on the farm, if shoes can't tolerate "poo"... they aren't used, lol! My boots are so comfortable, Justin Ropers, and I could wear them all day long, love 'em! Thanks for sharing your wonderful thoughts about boots, I will think of your post when I put mine on :) Hugs to you today!

I just love this post Amy. It's so creative! I've got one son with feet so big, I cannot find boots!

Be blessed.
