So, I promised I would get these pictures posted of our camping trip.
So, here you go! Enjoy!
We all had a blast and we have lots of stories to tell.
I didn't take any pictures of our "Follow the Leader" hike,
because I don't think the camera would have made it out alive!
Ha! Ha!
There were several deer right next to our camp
and we were lucky enough to set and watch them graze each night.
Such amazing animals they are!
I took lots of pictures of the wildflowers!
I was trying out new settings on my camera.
I love this one, it's such a vibrant yellow!
It shouts Joy!
Isn't God's landscape just beautiful?!
My oldest son is trying his hand at gold panning.
He didn't strike it rich,
but he found some really pretty rocks!
My middle son showing off the rock he climbed.
On one of the rock hikes, he slipped off and his
big brother caught him with one hand before
falling several feet down the mountain.
Whew... that was intense for the moment!
Thank God for big strong brothers!
And quick answered prayers!
My hubby, trying to catch some stream fish.
No luck... all the fish just disappeared!
Imagine that... Hee Hee!
And here's my youngest son showing off his rock climbing abilities.
He got smart and asked if he could tie a rope to the top
and use that as a safety guide to help him down!
He gets that from his mama! :)
And, that is our little mini vacation to the mountains.
And, still praising God for no BEARS!
I hope you enjoyed your visit
Come again....soon!
Blessings and Hugs,
Amy

Have a great Monday.

Beautiful pictures! It sounds like you had a great time minus the scary event.
What a wonderful family and a wonderful memory you've made.
Blessings,

I just love seeing all of your pictures Amy. They are so refreshing. What memories they are recording for you. One of these days you will look back and be so happy you have a record of those moments, (written and pictures)… along with your funny stories. Tell Clayton I think I got a little gold fever in Alaska haha. I didn't think I would ever be tempted to want to pan for gold, but it was fun once we gave it a little try.
Thanks for the comments on my blog. It is always such treat to hear from you. This year we are planting our garden in raised beds that Steve made; he is working on screened enclosures for them. The grasshoppers have pretty much wiped out everything that is green outside. So I understand if you didn't plant anything yet. Our neighbor Dale has planted twice and lost everything. I am hoping these beds will work. Thanks for sharing your camping trip.
Love and Blessings
Pam
