Don't Cover Your Eyes...

I think everyone at some point in our lives
young or old, we have covered our eyes for something.

Have you ever thought that maybe
you shouldn't cover your eyes?

Are your eyes covered now?
Well, UNCOVER them!

Now what do you see?

I've heard many people say "God hasn't shown me what to do?"
"Why can't I see His plan, His work in my situation?"

Well, it's probably because you have your eyes covered!

Take your hands off and look.
Really Look...

Sometimes, he is showing us, but we as children of the flesh
are not really seeing what God is offering.

Have you ever thought to look through someone else's eyes?

Now what do you think you would see then?

Sometimes we can't explain to others what God is truly showing us,
but in some cases Maybe you are being shown what lies ahead
or what God is trying to show you at that very moment.

But, the problem is that you really don't see it.
Or, you choose not to see through your spirit.

We have no clue what is ahead of us,
if we don't uncover our eyes!
We will trip and fall and then feel like you didn't see the
Caution sign that was right in front of you.

Dear Friends,
We must always stay alert and be aware
of our surroundings and situations at all times.
Or we may just miss out on something
that the Lord is trying to teach us.

Come on now,
UNCOVER those eyes!

I hope you all have a wonderful week friends!

In His Grace,

Its a good word Amy. Quite often we can hide out of fear. We hide ourselves, and cover our eyes just as you said. We have to learn to look and listen through faith, by His spirit. Thanks for sharing. The girls and I were just talking about you all and missing you. I will very much miss our wonderful Valentines tradition and miss being with you on your Birthday. Love you,
Pam

What a great post Amy to understand that we should not live in fear as we are part of His bride. Instead, we should be able to look up, look around, and be filled with faith at what the Lord desires to do in our lives! May the Lord bless you richly today in all you do!

Hello Amy, I think we all cover our eyes or shut them really tight at times. Sometimes, we just need to stare down our fears! This was a good word!
We do need to be told every now and again OPEN...
Happy Valentines Day
