We love to Dehydrate!!! So, our greenhouse has been doing it's job... And a great job at that!
We have green onions!!
And Basil... This smells heavenly!!
And Parsley!! Hello spaghetti sauce! :)
And, in the end of one dehydrating process, we get a small amount each time, but it is so worth it!!
(And this was only the first cut!)
At the end of our growing season, what we don't can or process, we dehydrate and the shelf life is a very long time (but it doesn't last long around here, I put dried herbs and veggies in everything!)
I hope I have inspired you to dehydrate or maybe I made you hungry! :)
Either way... I hope you enjoyed your brief visit and stop by again.... Soon!
Blessings to You,

Oh, how wonderful. My Amy brought me rosemary this afternoon. I don't dehydrate it, though. I just let it dry naturally.
Do you think I should try dehydrating it instead?
Blessings to you,
Laura of Harvest Lane Cottage
I love this Amy. It is wonderful. I do my herbs like Laura Lane does, and dry naturally, but we are on the verge of getting another dehydrator (our old one passed away years ago, and we haven't done it in a while)...except naturally and in the oven. I am thinking of doing much more dehydrating this year... I would like to try a lot of different things in the dehydrator, so I would love to see all that you have done; you;re an inspiration. Thanks for sharing. See you Thursday.
Love ya Pam
WOW! Yes you made me hungry and want to dehydrate!!! Your greens look stunning! You are always wetting my appetite! Love you and your blog so much! Happy 4th of July sweet Amy :)

Golly, You make this work or project look like such fun. What great pictures and so well put. I did feel a wee bit hungry after reading it. I was just thinking that the green onions are the very best. You're a very big inspiration as to being a good homemaker.
Blessings Always, Roxy
Hi Amy! My husband would be drooling over that basil...he loves to make pesto!
You are really making use of what God has given you :)
Peace in Christ,
Ceil
Amy, I never thought about dehydrating my own spices. I am going to have and try this!
